How do I set up Habits?

2 min read

Before habits appear for your member, first make the Habit section visible on the home screen. Navigate to 'Company settings', then 'Mobile app personalization' and enable 'Habits'.

You can now add Habits. Go to the specific member you want to create a habit for and navigate to 'Habits'.

Here you can add and view habits:

then click 'Add habit' in the top right.

To create a habit successfully, work through these fields from top to bottom:

1. Visual identity

  • Habit icon: Click the plus to choose a suitable icon representing the habit (e.g. a glass of water for hydration).

  • Color: Select a color (blue by default) to make the habit recognizable in the member overview.

2. Name and description

  • Habit name: Give the habit a short, clear name (max. 20 characters), such as "Daily walk" or "High-protein lunch".

  • Description: Add extra explanation or instructions for the member (max. 200 characters). For example: "Try walking outside for at least 15 minutes during your break."

3. Frequency and target

  • Habit type: Choose the type (e.g. a counter, yes/no check or time measurement).

  • Task days: Select the weekdays when the member should perform the task (e.g. "Every day" or only "Workdays").

  • Target value: Set what the member should achieve (e.g. "8" or "1").

  • Add unit: Specify what the target value refers to (e.g. "Glasses", "Steps" or "Times").

4. Duration

  • Start date: Choose when the habit begins for the member.

  • End date: Select how long this habit should remain active.

5. Reminders

  • Under Reminder, configure specific notifications.

  • Click 'Add reminder +' to choose when the member receives a push notification on their phone. This helps them remember the habit during the day.

6. Saving

  • Satisfied with the settings? Click the black Save button at the bottom right. The habit is now linked to the member's profile.

The added habits are now visible on the home screen of the relevant member's app.
