Adding a member and assigning a product
📍 Member list: coach.fitsociety.io/member
Step 1: Add a member
Go to Coach → Members.
In the top right, click the + button.
Enter the name and email address. A new member receives no automatic invitation: you send it yourself at the appropriate time.
Please note: if you add a previously removed member with an existing account again, they do receive a consent request by email and only appear in your member list after confirmation. See the article "Why does a member added again not appear in the member overview immediately?".
Step 2: Assign a product
Open the member profile → tab Finance.
Click Add product.
In the "Select product" window, choose the desired product (filtered by Membership, Credit package, Individual session or Day or week pass).
You arrive at the screen Product details. Adjust the name if desired and set the start date.
Step 3: Choose a payment method
Choose from the five options in the dropdown Payment method:
Send payment link (recommended) — sends the member a payment link. After payment, FITsociety saves their bank details and subsequently collects payments automatically through SEPA direct debit. Requires the member's email address to be entered.
Send payment link (per installment) — sends a new payment link for each invoice period. No automatic SEPA direct debit.
Collect automatically through SEPA — collects directly through SEPA. Requires the member's bank details to be known already.
Payment already received — mark as paid if the member already paid through another method (e.g. cash or bank transfer).
Free product — no payment is created; the product becomes active immediately.
Extra options in Product details
Price per installment — the template price by default; turn off "Use template price" to enter a custom price.
Apply one-time fees — add one-time fees (e.g. registration fees) on top of the first installment.
Add extra services — link additional services to this product.
Always check the overview
Scroll down in Product details for a summary of the first payment, next installment and renewal date. Review this before saving.
