A multi-session pass is a payment method members use to pay for classes or appointments. You decide how many pass uses it contains and how many each class or service requires. This gives you and your members flexibility.
A multi-session pass has no automatic renewal or payment period. The member pays once, uses the pass and it ends when all uses are spent or validity expires.
Members can use their pass to book different classes or appointments without paying separately each time, making it easier to schedule several sessions at once.
Here are some ways to use multi-session passes:
Flexibility: Members choose when to schedule their classes or appointments.
Discount: Multi-session passes are often discounted compared with individual classes, encouraging members to buy more classes.
Reliability: Members are often more likely to follow their training plan when they have prepaid for several classes.
Offering multi-session passes can also improve loyalty, as members tend to return to use their remaining sessions.
Creating a new multi-session pass
To create a new multi-session pass (an individual product, unlike an ongoing membership), select Add service, then click 'Multi-session pass'. Follow these steps:
1. Basic pass details
Product image: Upload an appropriate image for the multi-session pass.
Name: Enter the title (for example: "10-visit fitness pass" or "Introduction package").
Description: Clearly explain what the member is buying (maximum 1000 characters).
2. Pass uses & validity
Pass uses: Enter the total number of uses the member receives on purchase (e.g. 5, 10 or 20).
Pass validity after purchase: Determine how long the pass is usable after purchase. Enter a number and choose the unit (e.g. 3 months or 1 year) in the dropdown.
One-time purchase: Enable the toggle if members may buy this specific product only once (for example, a promotion or trial pass).
3. Prices & terms
Price: Enter the total amount the member pays for the pass.
VAT: Select the appropriate VAT rate (e.g. 9% or 21%). The system then calculates the price excluding VAT automatically.
4. Visibility
Choose where and for whom the pass should be visible:
Visible in store and app (default): Everyone can see and buy the pass.
Store only: Only through the online store, not in the mobile app.
App only: Only for mobile users, not in the online store.
Coaches only (hidden): The pass is not public. Only a coach or administrator can assign it to a member manually.
5. Class bookings
Which classes can be booked?: Use the search bar at the bottom to select the specific classes, workouts or activities this pass can pay for.
You can now save the 'Multi-session pass'.
