2 min read

The coaching loop in FITsociety

FITsociety is built around a consistent coaching loop. Each step builds on the previous one.

Step 1: Intake

The start of every coaching process. Send an intake form through the Intake tab in the member profile. The member completes it through Profile → Intake in the app.
📍 Manage forms: Settings → Intake and check-up forms

Step 2: Goal

Intake questions automatically populate the Goal tab. FITsociety calculates daily calorie requirements using the Harris-Benedict formula. For this, select at least Height, Weight, Age, Sex and Physical activity in the form's Goals link. The calorie target appears as a line in the Progress graphs.

Step 3: Create a plan

Through the member profile tabs:

Step 4: Track progress

The member logs workouts, nutrition and measurements in the app. The coach sees this through the Progress tab. Filter by Measurements, Nutrition or Workouts. Click a day for details.
📍 Member profile → Progress tab

Step 5: Check-up

The member receives a check-up form each week. View all submissions centrally.
📍 Coach → Check-ups

Step 6: Give feedback and adjust

Send feedback through the chat and adjust the plan. The loop is complete and repeats.

Summary: Intake → Goal → Plan → Progress → Check-up → Feedback → Adjust → back to Progress...
