Creating your own recipes.

3 min read

1. The recipe overview

When you navigate to Nutrition → Recipes you see four tabs:

  • Library: Our database of 7.500 ready-made recipes.

  • My recipes: All recipes you created or copied yourself.

  • Member recipes: Recipes added by your members.

  • Company recipes: A shared place combining coach and member recipes for the entire company.

2. Adding a recipe yourself (3 ways)

As a coach, you have three powerful ways to create new content:

A. Completely new recipe (from scratch)

Click the black button Add recipe. On the screen that opens, enter:

  • Recipe information: Name, category (e.g. lunch/dinner), description, number of servings and preparation time.

  • Recipe media: Add a YouTube instructional video or upload your own image (JPG/PNG).

  • Preparation instructions: Add the instructions step by step.

  • Visibility: Choose whether the recipe is visible to everyone or only within your company.

B. Generate with AI

Short on time? Click the blue button Generate AI recipe. Based on a short description (prompt), AI immediately writes a complete recipe, including macros and preparation instructions.

C. Copy an existing recipe

See an appealing recipe in the Library? Open it and click the button at the bottom right Make a copy.

  • The recipe is saved under the tab My recipes.

  • From there, use the three dots (⋮) to choose Edit recipe or Edit details to customize the recipe as desired.

3. Options for members

Members can also contribute to the database, but with slightly restricted permissions to safeguard the quality of the main library:

  • Own creations: Members can build a recipe from 0 themselves.

  • Restrictions: Members have no access to the AI generator and cannot copy existing recipes from the library.

  • Sharing: Their creations appear for you as a coach under the tab Member recipes.

Coach's tip: Use the Filter button (next to the search bar) to select quickly by calories or macros. This helps you find exactly what your member needs among the 7.500 recipes!

4. Changing or removing ingredients

You can now remove or adjust individual ingredients in your own recipes. Useful for tailoring a recipe to a specific member's preferences or intolerances.

Remove an ingredient:

  1. Go to Nutrition → Recipes and open the recipe you want to adjust (under My recipes or Company recipes).

  2. Click Edit (pencil icon or button in the top right).

  3. Find the ingredient you want to remove and click the trash icon (🗑) next to that ingredient.

  4. Click Save to confirm the change.

Please note: Want to adjust a Library recipe? First make a copy through Make a copy. Library recipes cannot be edited directly; only your own recipes and company recipes are editable.
