The Goal tab: calculating and setting calorie requirements

1 min read

The Goal tab

The Goal tab in the member profile shows your member's personal goals and calculated calorie requirements.

📍 Go to: coach.fitsociety.io/member → click a member → tab Goal

What is in the Goal tab?

  • Body details (height, weight, age, sex) — entered through the intake

  • Fitness level and fitness goals

  • Calculated daily calorie requirements (BMR/TDEE)

  • Macro distribution (protein, carbohydrates, fat)

How are calorie requirements calculated?

FITsociety automatically calculates calorie requirements using the Harris-Benedict formula with a weekly average activity level.

Adjusting manually

Open the Goal tab and adjust the value directly. Want to distinguish training days from rest days? Calculate and enter the weekly average. Example: 2.600 kcal on 3 training days + 2.200 kcal on 4 rest days = approximately ~2.370 kcal/day.

Where can you see the calorie target?

The configured target appears as a target line in the nutrition graph in the Progress tab.

When creating the intake form, click the tab Goals and select the relevant measurements (height, weight, age, sex, fitness goals). After the intake is completed, these values are automatically copied to the Goal tab.
