The question: moving pass uses between members
As a coach, you want flexibility, and sometimes that means moving remaining sessions (pass uses) from one member to another. This may happen with a canceled membership, a gift or a family subscription, for example.
The FITsociety solution: manual and effective
FITsociety does not have a direct one-click transfer feature for pass uses, but you can achieve the same result with a simple manual workaround.
A direct 'Transfer' button is currently unavailable in FITsociety, but you can achieve the same result by manually adjusting both members' remaining pass uses. It takes an extra step but is effective.
Step-by-step instructions for coaches:
Step 1: Deduct pass uses from member A
First remove the desired number of pass uses from the member transferring them.
Go to Members and find the member (e.g. Linda).
Navigate to the Membership tab.
Select the relevant membership linked to the pass uses.
Click More and choose Edit remaining pass uses.
Remove the pass uses: Enter the number to transfer as a negative number (for example, enter '-5' to deduct 5 pass uses).
Step 2: Add pass uses to member B
Next add the pass uses just deducted to the new member.
Return to Members and find the member (e.g. Bas).
Navigate to the Membership tab.
Select or add the membership that should receive the pass uses.
Click More and choose Edit remaining pass uses.
Add the pass uses: Enter the number to transfer as a positive number (for example, enter '+5' to add 5 pass uses).
Coach's tip
This method is ideal for occasional transfers. If you find yourself doing this often, that is useful feedback for software development. Collect these cases and share them with FITsociety support.
