Troubleshooting the Mollie integration

2 min read

Use these steps if Mollie will not connect, your profile is missing or FITsociety says you need to reconnect. General connection instructions are in Connecting Mollie to FITsociety.

I cannot open or adjust the integration

Check whether you are working in the correct FITsociety company and whether your account has permission to manage integrations and payment settings. Ask the company administrator to connect it if you do not have these permissions.

I am not returned correctly after signing in to Mollie

Start the connection again from Settings → Plugins and integrations → Mollie. Sign in to Mollie with the account that has access to the intended organization. Complete the authorization fully. Do not use an old or already processed sign-in page.

It says ‘Reconnect’

FITsociety can no longer use or renew the existing Mollie authorization. Select the correct connection, choose Reconnect and authorize again in Mollie. After returning, check the connection status and profile.

Do not remove the integration as the standard first recovery step. An existing payment route may depend on it.

The profile is missing or unavailable

  • Check whether you connected the correct Mollie account.

  • If there are several connections, select the correct Mollie connection first.

  • Check in Mollie whether the profile exists and its verification status.

  • Refresh the data in FITsociety and choose a profile belonging to that connection.

A missing live profile does not automatically mean only a VAT number is missing. Mollie determines which information and verification your organization needs. See also Checking company details for Mollie and invoicing.

The connection works, but members cannot pay

Check, in order, the mode, the profile, the status Can receive payments, available payment methods and payment profiles in Finance. A valid sign-in alone does not confirm that you may receive real payments.

Follow Setting up Mollie: payment profiles, test mode and live mode. Also check a specific failed payment in Mollie. For a payout, check the payout status in your Mollie Dashboard.

What information does support need?

Send the company name, selected connection name, error message, mode used and time of the problem. For a specific payment, include the payment or invoice number. Obscure sensitive member and bank details in screenshots. Do not share passwords, API keys or access tokens.
