What are templates and what do you use them for?
A template is a training plan you create once and can then assign to several members. You do not need to rebuild a good plan each time: simply assign it again.
A template consists of weeks, and each week consists of training days. Add exercises for each day.
📍 Find templates through the left menu: Training V2 → Templates V2
The overview screen
At the top are four statistics: the total number of templates, how many there are at each level (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced) and how many have already been assigned to members.
Use the tabs All, Mine and AI to filter by template type.

Step 1: Create a new template
There are three ways:
Option A — Create manually
Click the blue + button in the top right
Give the plan a name, level and category
Click Create
Option B — Generate with AI
Click ✦ Generate template with AI in the top right
Type a description, for example: "8-week strength and running plan, 3 days per week, for a beginner"
AI creates the complete plan, including sets, repetitions and rest times
Always check the result and adjust where necessary
Option C — Copy an existing template
Click the three dots (⋯) next to a template
Choose Duplicate
The copy is fully independent: changes do not affect the original
Step 2: Add weeks and days
Managing weeks:
Click + Add week to add a new week
Click Duplicate week to copy an existing week (useful for repeating programs)
Switch between weeks using the tabs at the top: Week 1, Week 2, and so on
Managing days:
Click a day (Mon, Tue, Wed...) to open it
Click + Add day to add an extra training day
Click AI day to have AI generate a complete training day: you choose which equipment is available
Step 3: Add exercises to a day
The exercise library appears on the left of the screen. Click an exercise or drag it to the day to add it. Filter the library using four tabs:
Recent — exercises you have used recently
Library — all standard FITsociety exercises
Mine — exercises you created yourself
AI — AI-generated exercises

Step 4: Set the details for each exercise
Click an exercise to set sets, repetitions and rest time (in seconds).
Click + Advanced options for more settings:
Type — choose how performance is tracked: weight + repetitions, duration, distance, etc.
Per set — enable this to set different values for each set
Repetition range — set a range, e.g. 8–10 reps
RPE — indicates how hard it should feel (scale 1–10)
Set log — enable this so the member can track their weights and reps
Notes — write an instruction or coaching tip for the exercise
Creating supersets
A superset combines two or more exercises performed one after the other without rest in between.
Add the exercises to the training day
Click Create superset (in the top right of the exercise section)
Select the exercises you want to combine
You can also create trisets (3 exercises) and giant sets (4+).
Viewing muscle focus
On the right of the template screen is a Muscle focus panel. It displays a body figure with colors indicating which muscle groups the plan trains. Use this as a quick check of whether the plan is balanced.
Printing a plan or saving it as a PDF
In the top right, click Print / PDF.
Layout — e.g. "Complete handout"
Document language — automatic or a fixed language
What to include — select: exercise images, technique instructions, QR codes
Click Create preview to view the PDF, then download or print it.
Manage categories
Click Manage categories in the top right of the template overview to create new categories (e.g. "Strength", "Cardio"), rename existing ones or remove them.
