1. Weekly schedule
This tab determines the location's general opening hours.
Enable days: Use the toggles to set a day to 'Open'. While a day is set to 'Closed' (gray), no activities can be scheduled.
Opening hours: Set the time range for each day during which the location is accessible for classes.
2. Exceptions
Use this tab for occasional changes that differ from the standard weekly schedule.
Add exceptions: Click Add to choose a specific date.
Type: You can close the location completely for a specific day or add extra opening hours.
Reason: Record why the location has different hours (e.g. "Room maintenance" or "Public holiday").
3. Advanced settings
Set the general rules for this specific place here:
Booking windows: As with coaches, you can set limits for each location:
Max booking future: How far ahead can this location be reserved?
Min booking notice: What is the minimum notice required for a booking?
Buffer between sessions: The required rest/changeover time for the location itself.
Global allowed lessons: * This is a useful "fallback" feature. Set which class types are allowed at this location by default.
If you leave this empty, all class types are allowed. This serves as a basic restriction when no specific rules are configured at day or slot level.
Why can members not see all times when booking? (Exclusive location reservation)
Are coaches available (for example from 09:00), but members can only book later times (for example from 12:30)? Check the location's setting Reserve location exclusively for a booking .
If this setting is enabled, only one class or booking can take place at the location at a time. Time slots when the location is already in use are no longer bookable.
Want several classes or bookings to take place at the same location simultaneously? Turn the setting off: go to Calendar → three dots (⋯) → Location availability → choose the location → tab Settings (called 'Advanced settings' above).
Also check the duration: if a member has a membership for 60-minute classes, they can only book 60-minute classes, even if longer sessions (e.g. 90 minutes) are available.
